Siva has dreamt of being a golfer from an early age. So at the tender age of 9, he started playing golf. Soon after a glorious stint on the junior circuit, he turned professional in 1996 by becoming a member of the Malaysian Professional Golf Association. Ever since thing he has actively competed in golf tournaments accross the country.

In 1997, Siva began his career as a Golf Instructor. He underwent an apprenticeship program with Australian, Andrew Argus. During that time, Andrew Argus was the Malaysian National Coach for Golf. Siva has also worked with the likes of Glenn Roberts also from Australia. Siva has been teaching golf at the Tropicana Driving Range, Tropicana Golf and Country Club.

In 2008, Siva joined JNG Golf Academy. Ever since joinning JNG, the experience and knowledge gained from this dynamic company has been invalueble to his growth as one of Malaysia's preimier golf instructor.
