Lawrence Lau

Lawrence started his golf professional career in 1995 as a playing professional on the Malaysian and Asian Circuits, and decided to embark on a teaching career which began at Glenmarie G.C.C from 1996 to 1999, after which he joined the Gary Player Golf Academy at Kota Permai G.C.C until 2003. In search of more knowledge to improve his teaching and club fitting skills, he joined the JNG Golf Academy at Tropicana G.C.C and together with his then teaching partner, Matthew Coote, developed programs for juniors, beginners, aspiring professionals and touring pros that have made the JNG Golf academy one the top golf training centers in Malaysia for golfers of all levels. Besides teaching full time, Lawrence has been a regular contributor of golf instruction articles to all leading golf magazines in Malaysia since the mid 1990's.
