Our Methods

LiteratureBooks- Articles – Teaching Manuals – Reference Material Reading literature is the hardest way to learn. Terminology and explanation are for the mass market, for players of all levels.   The written word can be misread or misunderstood. Common words used in articles describe what you see not what is happening. This literature is read for knowledge and should not always be implemented without the correct explanation and guidance from a qualified professional.

Being referred to or supplied with manuals and/or reference materials that are relevant to what you are trying to improve, is the literature that you should be reading.

Verbal

Listening - absorbing explanation

Verbal explanations of faults or fixes are difficult to absorb, unless you are a conception type of person.

Explanation can work best if the person has a sound understanding of golf motion mechanic and awareness of body motions.

Visual explanation works best with reinforcement by visual and or kinesthetics

Visual

Video analysis – mirrors

Majority of people learn best visually and with visual aids

Computer video analysis

Video with professional analysis allows students to identify their major and minor faults and the corrections required for improvement.

Video allows comparisons between old swing motions and improved motions, comparisons between similar swing types.

Mirrors

Identifying the difference between new and old swing positions.

Visual reinforcement of swing positions.

Kinesthetic - Feeling

Drills – manipulation – teaching aids

Body motions are feel related

Attaching the correct feel or related motions allows people to implement new motions

Drills are given to work on specific areas or movements in your swing.

Manipulation is done to allow people to understand the correct positions or sequences

Teaching aids are used to develop flowing feels

Ball flight - Result

Understanding the 5 ball flight laws

Learning from your ball flight is the ultimate way to learn and to understand your swing mechanics.

To learn by ball flight, students must have a sound understanding of golf swing mechanics

To learn by ball flight, students must understand the 5 ball flight laws and how they work together or affect each other.
